ABOUT THE ROLE
ALPA Construction is searching for a Project Superintendent to join our team. The Project Superintendents will supervise the daily onsite commercial construction operations and be responsible for daily scheduling, logistics, quality control, safety and all other aspects of site supervision while developing an excellent working relationship with our clients and trade partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Constructability reviews of contract document drawings
Develop site logistic and phasing plans for executing complex construction projects
Create 2-4 week look ahead schedules to coordinate with trade partners
Perform weekly safety inspections and safety talks
Conduct preinstallation meetings, first work inspections, and completion inspections for quality control
Manage construction sites with manpower between 30-220+ tradesman to be conducive to a safe and productive work environment
Communicate with internal project management staff along with trade partner office staff for transparent updates and coordination of work.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
8 years of supervision experience in the healthcare construction industry
Acute Healthcare Experience Required
Familiarity with scheduling software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 is required
Experience with Bluebeam and Procore Construction software preferred
Must have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment
Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints
Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality
Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite
