Field Superintendent

Field Superintendents will supervise the daily onsite commercial construction operations and be responsible for daily scheduling, quality control, safety and all other aspects of site supervision while developing an excellent working relationships with our clients and subcontractors.

  • Responsibilities
    • Review architectural drawings to determine appropriate actions needed by trades
    • coordination of work performed by the trades, and conducting reviews

    • Analyze drawings to insure that all information necessary to complete
    • the project is included and to make note of any concerns
    • Schedule and coordinate multiple subcontracts to an overall schedule
    • Assess trade work completion with schedule and take action to make up for project delays
    • Review subcontractor work for completeness, value, quality, accuracy, and cost
    • Prepare Daily/Weekly job site report with photos
      Identify necessary change orders
    • Understand and Implement Infectious Control Barriers

Project Engineer

Project Engineers provide the knowledge, skills and experience required to schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities for commercial construction projects. Project Engineers are responsible for communicating with engineers, architects and vendors. Cooperates and communicates effectively with the Project Manager and Project Executive. The Project Engineer ensures quality work that is consistent with the standards set forth in the project’s contract documents and for performing the work in a timely and cost effective manner.

    Minimum 3 years in construction industry with a commercial / industrial general contractor. Alternatively, 3 years experience as construction manager engaged in general building construction

  • Responsibilities

    • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor their assigned projects.
    • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
    • Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
    • Perform overall quality control of the budget, schedule, plans and personnel’s performance.
    • Prepare and price contract changes and additions to contractual agreements.
    • Assist with building permits and inspections.
    • Manage and look-ahead proactively to identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions.
    • Participate in weekly progress/coordination meetings.
  • Desired Skills and Experience

    • Proven working experience as a Project Engineer.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or institutional General Contractor or Construction Manager engaged in general building construction.
    • BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.
    • Advanced MS Office skills.
    • A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and related site work.
    • A working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical work and drawings.

Construction Estimator

Estimators prepare accurate and well-crafted bids/proposals that result in awarded contracts that are profitable and maintain the level of quality expected.
Estimators work under very tight time frames and are responsible for handling multiple bids/proposals and responsibilities simultaneously.

  • Responsibilities

    • Review and analyze drawings, specifications, proposals and other documents.
    • Prioritize and organize deadlines for bids, determine and develop project general conditions.
    • Determine the appropriate bid divisions. Provide all other standard bid book tabs according to the Estimating Department Procedural Manual.
    • Project Bidding: Review plans and request any additional information from the architect. Follow up with subcontract and material bidders to ensure bid coverage. Review and qualify returned bids.
    • prepare detailed summary of work per divisions.
    • Review complete bid breakdown and proposal with the Project Manager.
    • Update and finalize bid book. Assist in project buy-out and start-up. Communicate as necessary with project team.

    • Familiar with conceptual estimating, writing detailed scopes of work, reading blue prints, performing detailed quantity take off’s.
    • Solid proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of project management software (Prolog, Procore, etc.), project scheduling software (Suretrack, Fastrack, Project, etc.) and take-off software (OnScreen).
    • Experience with projects $50,000 to $10 million.

Project Manager

Project Managers direct and monitor the progress of construction activities while maintaining safety, schedule and budget requirements. Project mangers should have technical and administrative skills along with the ability to be organized.
ideal candidates are experienced managers with the proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire personnel while overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Development and maintenance of client/customer relationships
    • Management of projects from initial client/customer contact and proposal phases, hand-off to the field superintendents and foremen, through accounting close
    • Preconstruction process to include site surveys/site walks and subcontractor selection and preparation of client proposals
    • Developing/tracking project budgets to include all costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors
    • Management of master schedules, project time lines and milestones
    • Providing updates/formal weekly schedules for all current and prospective projects to owners/executive management
    • Acquisition of all required permits
    • Verification of inspection schedules and reports
    • Inventories required – site inventories and materials
    • Submittal and approval of all subcontracts and change orders
    • On-site relations with client/customer, facility representatives, subcontractors, and city officials
    • Identify potential sales opportunities and communicate the opportunities to senior management
